Maintenance

The DGPT2 device does not require any maintenance.

Transparent body

In very polluted or intensive agricultural atmospheres, successive layers of deposits can make the body of the device less transparent. The transparent body can be cleant carefully with an alcohol-free product.

Dielectric level

The level of dieletric fluid in the device’s body can fluctuate according to ambient and operating temperatures. These are low-amplitude fluctuations which do not require adding dielectric fluid. However, if the level drops so far as to cause a “Gas discharge” fault, inform the manufacturer of the transformer.

Annual check

If your automated systems and safety devices need to be checked once a year, the DGPT2’s contacts and set points can easily be checked and reset by the user (see On-site testing).
