Option PA: Marine stuffing gland anchorage

Devices concerned: DGPT2 & DGP.
With the PA option, the standard stuffing gland is replaced by a special marine-type stuffing gland with anchoring to the cable sheath.
Characteristics:- Neoprene sealing ring: -40 to 100°C (-40 to 212°F)
- IP 68, 10 bars (145.1 psi) (IEC 529) (see IP 68 and IEC 529)
- Indoor/outdoor installation
- For zones 1 and 2
- For reinforced sheathed cables
- Clamping capacity: Ø 12 to 21 mm (.47” to .83”) (external sheath diameter)
- Attachment and reinforcement continuity
- Internal and external sheath sealing
- Stuffing gland BT130
- Housing seal: BT132
- Attachment nut: BT133
This stuffing gland is used in marine and offshore rig applications. It anchors the cable thightly and provides reinforcement continuity.
