Option 2PD: Two pressure change-over contacts with offset thresholds

Back to Options.

P1 setting point

Devices concerned: DGPT2 & DGP.

With the 2PD option, the pressure switch has two individually mounted electrical change-over contacts with offset thresholds (two setting points). There is only one setting cursor that shows the low setting point (P1). The high setting point (P2), which is not visible, is noted on the identification plate.

By design, only one contact is ajustable (P1); the other contact (P2) is always set at 0.2 bars (2.9 psi). P1 must be different from P2. The 2P option provides simultaneous pressure contacts.

Part references:

The 2PD option allows to set the low point (P1) as an alarm and the high point (P2) as a trigger. P1 is displayed on the setting point (see photo) and the identification plate, but P2 is only visible on the identification plate.

In case of On-site testing, the reference value is set to zero. Always reset the cursor to P1.
