Option X: Device for corrosive atmosphere

Device concerned: DGPT2.
With the X option, the device is made to better resist in corrosive atmospheres.
- The electrical housing is made of 304L stainless streel with a coat of epoxy paint.
- Attachment hooks and external nuts and screws are made of 316 stainless steel.
- The inside of the electrical housing and the electrical plate are tropicalized and varnish protected.
- Tightness of stuffing-gland and housing is strengthened by internal and external silicon seals.
- All nickel-plated parts, such as the drain tap or the cover screws, are chemically plated with nickel to a thickness of 20 µm.
The X option is useful in marine settings, diluted sulphuric acid atmospheres, etc.
